Andrew established the business in 2002, following a number of years in advertising and in a large marketing company where he developed his expertise in all aspects of market research - including desk, qualitative and quantitative work. Prior to his working career, Andrew gained a double first in English at Oxford University. He has been a Member of the Market Research Society (by examination) since 1998, and AD Research and Analysis has been on the Central Office of Information research roster since 2004.
Over recent years the company has produced over 80 reports for a wide range of UK government departments, including: Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; Department for Transport; Department of Health; Department for International Development; Home Office; Ministry of Justice; Department for Culture Media and Sport; the Government Social Research Unit. He has also produced reports for associated agencies including the Energy Saving Trust; The Qualifications and Curriculum Agency; The Higher Education Funding Council for England; and for NGOs including Oxfam, The World Wildlife Fund and Comic Relief.
Andrew is also in demand as a behaviour change expert speaker and facilitator. Over the last year, Andrew has provided behaviour change presentations and workshops to bodies including: the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee, the Welsh Assembly Government, The Scottish Government, the Ministry of Justice, Defra, the Department of Work and Pensions, the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, the Food Standards Agency, the Drinkaware Trust, the Central Office of Information, NatCen, the UK Energy Research Council, the London Sustainability Exchange, Oxfam, and Comic Relief.
